AI + Automation
Automate repetition, not relationships
A simple test for deciding what should be automated and what should stay human.
There is a version of automation that makes a business better and a version that makes it feel like a call center. The difference is usually whether the automated step required judgment.
Ask four questions. Does this happen the same way every time? Does delay cost money or trust? Can we measure whether it worked? Would a human add judgment here, or just latency?
Confirmation emails, record creation, task generation, reporting, and review requests pass that test easily. Discovery calls, pricing conversations, and difficult client moments do not.
AI is most useful in the preparation layer: research before a call, a draft after it, a summary of what changed in the pipeline. The person still makes the call.
