Every lead should have a next step
The most common revenue leak in founder-led businesses is not lead volume. It is what happens in the first hour.
Most founder-led businesses do not have a lead generation problem. They have a lead handling problem. Someone submits a form on a Tuesday evening, the notification lands in an inbox with everything else, and by Thursday the person has contacted someone else.
The fix is unglamorous: an immediate acknowledgement, a record created automatically, a notification that reaches a human, and a task with a due date. Four steps, none of which require expensive software.
The reason this matters more than almost any marketing improvement is arithmetic. Doubling inquiries is hard. Answering the inquiries you already receive within minutes instead of days is a configuration change.
If you only build one automation this quarter, build this one.
